What is Adaptive Fast Charging for Technology

This technology allows the smartphone to use a higher charging capacity, which allows the battery to be charged up to 50% faster.

Smart IC technology

The intelligent IC in the charger can regulate the voltage of the electrical current and protect your devices from overcurrent, overheating or overcharging, ensuring a safe charge.

Do I have to worry about the charger getting hot during charging?

The purpose of this AFC technology is to charge the phone to a percentage of 50 to 60 percent. During charging, the charger and phone can become very hot. It cools down after 60% of the battery. Therefore, AFC (Adaptive Fast Charging) is not actually used to fully charge a device.

What is the difference between Quick Charge (QC) and Adaptive Fast Charging (ADC)?

They are basically the same technology, but brands that are marketed under different names. While Qualcomm called it Quick Charge, Samsung called it Adaptive Fast Charging.
