How did this idea come about?

When one of our team members came back from vacation by plane, he realized for the umpteenth time that all suitcases looked boring, unrecognizable and identical! Around him he heard several people who couldn’t choose their suitcase themselves. On the spot, he decided that things could and should be different – the idea was born!
